Evanescence


Evanescence is coming out with a new album. The band hasn't released an album since 2006 so this should be very exciting. Amy Lee, lead vocalist, says the band will have a completely new lineup. Lee says the album is like "'80s throwback music with analogue synthesizers and Moogs." This new album will be inspired by La Roux. To learn more about Moog synthesizers, click here. So, I was getting my doctor-recommended dose of KROQ yesterday morning and found out that Wes Craven may be directing Scream 4. As a huge fan of the Scream movies, I was obviously excited. The Scream tetralogy (thanks, Google) will have the original cast, WOO!

The largest solar powered boat, Planet Solar, is ready to set sail around the world. Planet Solar was built by a team of international engineers. It costs about 24 million dollars and is powered completely by solar panels. The Solar Power team's goal is to make people more aware of the uses of solar power.
